In conjunction with the release of Thin Lizzy's latest box set, Live and Dangerous, the band is also reissuing its classic 1983 live album, Last Live. This remastered edition commemorates the 40th anniversary of its release.

This 2-CD live album is a masterpiece, consisting mainly of material from the Hammersmith Odeon concert in London in March 1983, which was part of Thin Lizzy's "Last Tour," a tour to which she devoted all her energy. The album also features the performances of famous guitarists such as Gary Moore, Brian Robertson, Eric Bell, and John Sykes.

The lineup includes Phil Lynott (bass, vocals), Brian Downey (drums), and Scott Gorham (guitar), plus John Sykes, an up-and-coming guitarist who plays extremely fast, and Darren Wharton, a keyboardist who joined the band in the 1980s. The late stage performance by the lineup is well worth listening to. The three veterans and the two energetic young players create a great synergy in their performances.

In addition, some of the songs, such as "Rebel," were recorded during Sykes' tenure with his predecessor, Snowy White. This is a historical work that contains the performances of all the guitarists who colored Thin Lizzy's career.

The album includes "They're Going to Town", "Jailbreak", "Still There", and "Still There". and "Jailbreak," and "Still Love You," as well as songs from his last studio album, the UK #4 smash "Thunder and Lightning," and a well-balanced repertoire that was unique to this period.
