Rachenmann’s “Sho” was composed as part of the 2003 edition of the series and premiered by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Kazuyoshi Akiyama. It is a dense and richly colorful piece of music that makes full use of Rachenmann’s signature special playing techniques and live electronics.
