Meanwhile, regarding “Free,” Shomo says, “I probably won’t ever write another song that portrays my soul with such honesty.”\nTheir previous album, *The Surface*, released in 2023, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Albums and Hard Music Albums charts and produced two No. 1 rock radio hits: “Might Love Myself” and “I Was Alive.” That success propelled Beartooth to new heights, both creatively and commercially. *Pure Ecstasy* builds on that momentum while taking even bolder musical risks.
