The latest release from La Priest, the solo project of former Late of the Pier's Sam Dust, is dreamy, soft psychedelic pop music at its finest! LA Priest, the solo project of Sam Dust, frontman of Late of The Pier, a legendary band that was part of the UK dance rock movement along with Klaxons and CSS, has released its latest album! The album, "Fase Luna," was inspired by the ocean and named after a modular drum machine that Sam designed himself using 150 electrical circuits. The album, which is the purest LA Priest sound to date without any synthesizers, is a "fairy tale" with Sam crooning melodies and local Mexican musician Carlos Gabriel Favela Manzano playing the drums. The result is a "fairy tale" sound. The opening track "Fase Luna" creates a slumbering psychedelia with its shimmering guitar sound, "It's You," a funky love song about a man who falls in love with a mermaid and has to choose between a life on land or a life at sea, and the cool, swelling "Sail On," a classic. The album features nine must-hear songs, including the classic "Sail On". The music is unstable but pleasant, with a mysterious floating feeling throughout the work. I recommend this album for lovers of Shintaro Sakamoto, Bobby Ozora, Yo La Tengo, and even Fishmans. !!!!!!!!
