In 1970, Canned Heat released the album "Future Blues" with Harvey Mandel replacing Henry Vestein as guitarist. This is a live album selected from the recordings at various venues from the European tour with the new lineup in the same year. This was Canned Heat's first live album, and it is a masterpiece that shows the band's overwhelming performance, but it was also the last album recorded by Alan 'Blind Owl' Wilson, who passed away in September 1970.
