Wilhelm Berger served as the permanent conductor of the Meiningen Court Orchestra and composed over 100 works, including orchestral pieces, piano pieces, and vocal works, nearly all of which were published. Furthermore, the fact that Berger’s piano works demand a high level of technical skill proves that Berger himself possessed superb piano technique.
