After studying in Dresden and Berlin, Yurovsky gained international attention with his performance of Rimsky=Korsakov's \"A Night in May\" at the Wexford Festival in 1995.The following year, he began recording with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, of which he has been Chief Conductor since 2007, as well as with the Russian National Orchestra, with whom he has recorded many works from his native Russia, and since the 2017\/18 season he has been Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.
