Additionally, under an official license from EMI, we are releasing the captivating collection *Italian Opera Overtures* by the master conductor Seraphin.\n\nThe Prestigious Amadeus Quartet: A Live Performance from Their Early Days in Cologne\nIn 1987, following the death of violist Sidorov, the prestigious British Amadeus Quartet brought a 40-year career to a close without ever having to replace a member. Although they left behind numerous recordings, their live performances are particularly rare. The tracks included here are taken from the ANDANTE release (AN2160), which compiles live performances from the same period: Mozart’s performance of Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden” and Beethoven’s performance of Haydn’s in C major, both given on the same day.
