Marina & The Diamonds

Description:

The project of Marina Diamandis, a Welsh diva of Greek descent, whose second album "ELECTRA HEART", released in 2012, reached No. 1 in the UK for the first time and also reached the Top 40 in the US and other parts of Europe, Marina and the Dimonds. Burying the prima donna costumes and characters she donned on her blockbuster second album, "ELECTRA HEART," she takes on a new persona and a new chapter in her life. Every story needs a beginning and an end," she says. I'm grateful for the experiences and opportunities I've had from 'Electra Heart,' but I'm never going to repeat them. I realized that relatively early on." The themes of the previous two films have faded, and the kitschy '50s fashions and over-the-top wigs are absent this time around. I felt as if a burden that I had been carrying all my life was suddenly lifted.I can't even begin to describe how wonderful it was... I suddenly understood why other people were able to be happy and enjoy things," she said. Maybe it means I'm ready to change. Maybe it means I'm ready to change. Maybe I'm ready to put things in the past that have been dragging me down for so long. I don't know if it's a rite of passage for people who reach a certain age, or if it's something rare that no one else experiences, but I knew it was something very important for my future. While her last album featured a number of prominent producers, including Dr. Luke, Liam Howe, and Greg Kurstin, this album features collaborations with producer David Kosten (Faultline), indie electro-rock band Everything Everything, and The Cure. and Jason Cooper, drummer of The Cure. The music for this album was written entirely by Marina. On October 10, 2014, her birthday, she released "FROOT," the first track from the album, and the tweet was immediately retweeted over 13,000 times and liked over 53,000 times on Instagram. The video also quickly gained over 100,000 views. The video also quickly garnered a huge response on social networking sites, with over 1 million views (it has now surpassed 2.5 million). From the title track, a dark electro-pop with a disco beat, to the 70's dance classic "I'm A Ruin," to "Happy," where the singer sings wistfully about how she never thought she could be happy, the song is constantly changing, and finally, the "real" version of herself is finally coming out. The latest evolution of Marina, who no longer feels uncomfortable with her "real" self, is here.
