Praised for his virtuosity and exceptional musicality, he released his first CD at age 15. It fully captures both the struggles and the maturity of the “child prodigy” as he grew into adulthood. His repertoire was incredibly broad; he could masterfully perform anything from original works to new pieces written specifically for him. While those around him focused solely on his virtuosity, he himself always strove to “sing” through his trumpet.
