He made a spectacular comeback to the scene in the late ’70s, but upon entering the ’80s, he met OLIVE, a Danish student researching Native American culture, and married her—his fourth marriage—spending the rest of his life in Denmark.\n\nThis album is a hidden gem from the ’90s, recorded during that period with Danish musicians.\nBacked by members of the renowned band SHAKYGROUND—known for their work with Danish R\u0026amp;B\/soul star HENNING STAERK—as well as percussionist FLEMMING NILSSON and keyboardist Kim Hyttel, among others, and he sings about his roots with a distinctive, understated style that resonates with the alternative music of the era.
