The second release in the collaborative series between Delphian and YCAT—which plans to release albums by nine artists over the next three years—features New Zealand-born violinist Benjamin Baker!\nBenjamin Baker, who won first prize at the Young Concert Artists International Auditions held in New York in 2016 and third prize at the Michael Hill Competition held in New Zealand in 2017, has expanded his international activities beyond Europe to include the United States, Colombia, China, Argentina, Lebanon, and Australia.\nThis collection of violin sonatas, presented alongside his regular duo partner Daniel Lepphardt (first-place winner at the 2014 Young Concert Artists International Auditions), features sonatas by Prokofiev, Copland, and Poulenc—composers from different countries and with diverse styles.
