A new heroine of the piano world, she has won first prizes at the Rubinshtein International Piano Competition (2009-2010), the Berlin International Piano Competition (2007), and the Scriabin International Piano Competition (2007), and made her Japan debut in 2014, Karin Kay Nagano.Daughter of Kent Nagano and Mari Kodama, and having studied piano in Paris with the late Germaine Meunier, a famous French teacher, the young talent recorded Mozart's "Piano Concertos No. 12 & 13 (Chamber Edition)" (PAN 28765/AN 28765) as her debut album. S. Bach's "2-voice Inventions and 3-voice Sinfonias" (PAN 28765/AN 28765). In performing this masterpiece composed for Wilhelm Friedemann Bach's teaching, Karin Kay Nagano has adopted the music order "C,D,E,F,G,A,B,B-fl,A,G,F,E,E-fl,D,C" based on the original 1720 edition.
