This is the fifth volume of the annual book CD series. This is the fifth volume of the annual book CD series, which now includes three CDs, one more than in the past, and the content has become even richer. This year, the theme is the Carthusians, a heretical sect of Christianity that flourished in medieval southern France, and the crusades against them. The background of this heresy, which Saint Bernard described as \"more Christian than the Christians and purer in faith,\" was the coincidence of worldly interests between the papacy and the French royal family, the secularization of the papacy, and the establishment of the Franciscans and Dominicans, a movement of renewal from within the system. The scope of the project is also broad. It also has a broad scope, dealing with the origins of the Cathari sect, the background of the rise of southern France, the Anglo-French 100 Years War (martyrdom of Jeanne d'Arc), the fall of the Eastern Roman Empire, and the demise of the Eastern Cathari sect. It is interesting to note that there is a connection with the previous work \"Jerusalem\" in terms of the Crusades. The collection includes mainly troubadour music, but also music from the Near East and even Dufaye's music from the Renaissance period.
