All works are world premiere recordings.\n\n\n\nDuluc, who lived in the same generation as the Six, is not well known, but her works have been reappraised in recent years, and her scores, which were previously unpublished, have been published in recent years, increasing the opportunities to perform her works.\n\n\n\nDuluc studied organ and composition at the Paris Conservatory. Her husband was a saxophonist, so many of her works are for this instrument, and her album of saxophone works (NOMADMUSIC\/NMM-088), performed by the Elipsos Quartet, known for its performances in Japan at La Folle Journée, has attracted much attention.\n\n\n\nAfter spending several years in New York, Duluc continued his activities in France. The melodies in the solo parts of his works are truly beautiful, and the technical passages are fascinating.The Cello Concerto, composed in 1932, uses every style (baroque, impressionist, film music, etc.) to such an extent that it creates a powerful swell, and the sense of style is overwhelming.\n\n\n\nThe Suite for Harpsichord is performed by Mahan Esfahani, and the Sonata for Viola and Orchestra by American-born Kubo Mitsuru.
