The work recorded here is \"Metamorphose in the Twelfth Symphony,\" a work from Respighi's last years, commissioned by the Boston Symphony Orchestra to commemorate its 50th anniversary. Rossini's suite \"Rossiniana,\" an arrangement based on Rossini's last work, \"The Mistakes of Old Age. An unpublished early work, \"Bulleske,\" and an orchestral arrangement of Bach's Passacaglia.
