The live recording, made by RAI (Italian Broadcasting Institute) in June 2002, will be made available to the public to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Busoni's death in 2024, and will be recorded by Piero Lattarino (1931-2023), a profound historian of the piano and its repertoire, who recently passed away. It features an unpublished text he had written for the Bertsch recording in 2004.\n\n\n\nBorn in Rome, Italy in 1965, Giovanni Bellucci was unable to play the piano until the age of 14, but suddenly his divine talent was awakened, and at the age of 15 he was able to play Beethoven's complete piano sonatas by heart. At the age of 16, he made his debut playing Liszt's \"Dance of Death,\" and was recognized by the great Russian master Lazar Berman, who took him as his pupil.
