It features two works exploring the themes of the environment, climate change, and biodiversity, along with a heartfelt piece for percussion duo. *Eccearbor! (Behold the Tree!)* is a “monodrama” that sheds light on the biodiversity being lost due to the industrialization of forests. Based on a poem by Greta Sundberg, it features a soprano (Alexandra Bükel) and four instrumentalists—playing trombone, horn, saxophone, and trumpet—who create a unique sonic space. *Okjökull* is a work dedicated to the first glacier in Iceland to be declared extinct, commissioned by the Icelandic harp and percussion duo “Duo Harpverk.” Against a backdrop of “singing ice” recorded in the field by the composer, harpist Meredith Clark performs alongside Ludwig Nilsson, principal percussionist of the Royal Swedish Opera. The percussion duo piece *Caress* was written for Nilsson and Mika Takehara; its charm lies in its gentle, delicate, and humorous sound, which draws parallels between the couple’s relationship and that of the two musicians.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53255627964705,"sku":"7330658516954","price":3141.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/7330658516954.jpg?v=1786765422","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/7330658516954","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
