He studied in England and also played the violin under Handel, and upon his return to Sweden, he served as head musician of the Royal Band in Stockholm. 1731 saw the start of what is believed to be Stockholm's first public concert series, and he worked on a wide range of instrumental and vocal works, including sinfonia. His elegant \"Drottningholm Music,\" composed for the wedding of Crown Prince Adolf Frerichs and Princess Lovisa Ulrica of Prussia at Drottningholm Palace on August 14, 1744, is still performed and recorded today as one of Ruhmann's masterpieces. The \"Swedish Mass\" of 1752 is another work of great importance to Swedish music and Rouman, using the \"Protestant\" version of the \"Mass\" from the Swedish Hymnal of 1695 as a text, and composed on poems by Jacob Frässe and others (Swedisch Society Discofil SCD 1066) and \"Te Deum\" (Musica Sveciae MSCD 413), both premiered in 1720, are milestones in the history of Swedish music, as they adapt the Swedish language to music.This Mass is composed of 13 pieces, including the \"Kyrie,\" which sings \"Herre forbarma tig ofver oss\" (Lord, have mercy on us), and the \"Glory to God in the highest (Are vare Gud i hogdem)\" to \"Med then helga Anda (With the Holy Spirit)\" (Med then helga Anda). The 13 pieces, 12 \"Gloria\", are performed by soprano, alto, and baritone solos, mixed chorus, two oboes, bassoon, string ensemble, and basso continuo. Gothenburg Baroque A new recording by Goteborg Baroque and Magnus Kjellson Magnus Kjellson is a Swedish recording of a live performance by the Drottningholm Baroque Ensemble at Stockholm's Adolf Frerich Church in October 1983 This is the follow-up release to the \"Musica Sveciae\" music anthology album (Proprius PRCD 9920\/Musica Sveciae MSCD 401) (out of print). With minimal choral and orchestral forces, Rouman's hopeful, sunny music is presented in a lively manner. The Swedish people are proud and happy that Luhmann's masterpieces are once again reaching an international audience with this album.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Nilento Records","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45631323210017,"sku":"7320470251751","price":2690.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/products\/7320470251751.jpg?v=1688267658","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/7320470251751","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
