The beauty of Stottin’s playing is, above all, its greatest charm. He has consistently redefined the image of the double bass as merely a continuo instrument, and this album unveils a unique world that only he can create. He has appeared as a guest soloist with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, and the Hague Resident Orchestra, among others.
