Sudobin's Tchaikovsky album features the brilliant "Ruslan and Lyudmila" Overture, edited by Sudobin himself. The album begins with the overture to Glinka's "Ruslan and Lyudmila," which was written by Tchaikovsky at the opening ceremony of the Moscow Conservatory. Tchaikovsky said at the opening ceremony of the Moscow Conservatory, "The first music to be played at the new conservatory must be Glinka! He reproduced the anecdote of how he himself went to the piano and played it at the opening ceremony of the Moscow Conservatory. Naturally, the piece was improvised and not scored, so Sudobin arranged it from his imagination. The original itself is so rapid and high voltage that it is a wonder that there has not been a virtuoso arrangement of it, and Sudobin's brilliant arrangement has given it new life. The centerpiece of the album is Sudobin's arrangement of the fantasy overture "Romeo and Juliet. The dramatic intensity and sweet melodic singing of the middle part are superb. The "Waltz of the Flowers" from "The Nutcracker" and the "Waltz" from "The Sleeping Beauty" are also arranged for four hands and played jointly with his beloved 12-year-old daughter Bella (high notes). It is very gorgeous and shows Sudobin's talent for arranging. The "Sleeping Beauty" is a brilliant addition to Rachmaninoff's arrangement. In addition, nine of Tchaikovsky's original piano pieces are performed, allowing the audience to fully enjoy Tchaikovsky's fairy tale world.
