The master tapes were missing, but have recently been unearthed from the orchestra's vast archives. The CD release of the CD was not available in time for Bruckner's bicentennial in 2024 (September 4), so it was made available exclusively on Apple Music in time for his birthday.\n\nThe performance is conducted at a weighty tempo throughout all the movements, but it is not overly heavy, and the brass instruments have a mellow, gentle tone. The slow tempo does not cause the performance to stagnate, and the fine changes in dynamics skillfully express the depth of tone and resonance. The recording is in very good condition, with a wide range of intensity, and the remastering emphasizes the sense of scale and highlights the depth and richness of the music, reproducing the superbly sculpted music of Celibidacke's later years.\n\nRemastered by Johannes Muller and mastered by Christoph Stickel.\n\n*The domestic SACD hybrid disc (scheduled for release on January 29, 2025) will be further mastered by Kosei Fujita for SACD with DSD mastering, and mastered so that the effect can be seen on CD as well.\n\n\n\n(Warner Music)\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Muncher Philharmoniker","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50716287697185,"sku":"731788141899","price":2695.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/731788141899.jpg?v=1734945611","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/731788141899","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
