A rare genius goes deep into Schumann and Brahms! Scarlatti and Bartók. In Vol. 1 (CCSSA23407), the genius Dejan Lajczyk has begun a completely new challenge to discover new connections between the works of Scarlatti and Bartók by liaising (linking) them in a program from his own unique perspective. In Vol. 1 (CCSSA23407), he proved the existence of folk songs, a common keyword between Scarlatti and Bartók, and for Vol. 2, he unexpectedly chose the 19th century masters Schumann and Brahms. The young Schumann's masterpiece \"Butterfly\" is closely connected with the novel \"The Cheeky Heap\" by the poet Jean Paul, whom he was fascinated by. A few years before meeting Brahms, Schumann wrote \"Scenes in the Forest,\" inspired by Rückert's writings, even though he was beginning to suffer from a mental disorder. Then, after his encounter with Clara and Schumann's death, Brahms in his later years combined three of his \"Six Piano Pieces,\" composed in 1892, in chronological order in Ratzik. The changes in Schumann's style due to the passage of time and changes in his mental state, and the facets of Schumann that can be seen in Brahms' piano works of his later years. Ratzik expresses the similarities and influences that exist in the piano works of Schumann and Brahms not through words but through musical messages.
