This is his 17th album of rich, baroque sounding pop songs. Ron Sexsmith has released a new album, The Vivian Line. This is Ron's seventeenth album and features twelve new songs written and performed by himself. The Vivian Line is a country road just outside of Stratford, Ontario, where we live. Whenever we have to leave town, we hop on The Vivian Line and take off onto the highway. When I first moved here, I wondered about the name and was intrigued. The recording was done in Nashville with Brad Jones (producer and power pop singer/songwriter.Brad played bass on three of my previous records, "Other Songs," "Whereabouts," and "Blue Boy. Brad played bass on three of my previous records, Other Songs, Whereabouts, and Blue Boy. The Vivian Line" has a very extravagant sound, almost baroque pop, a distant cousin of "Whereabouts. Most of the songs are inspired by the stage of life I'm in and trying to figure it all out," says Ron.

Tracklisting:

.Place Called Love
.What I Had In Mind
.Flower Boxes
.Outdated and Antiquated
.Diamond Wave
.Powder Blue
.One Bird Calling
.Country Mile
.This, That and the Other Thing
.A Barn Conversion
.When Our Love Was New
.Ever Wonder
