This is their debut album as a trio. Shel Habbestad's \"Three Kinds of Flowers\" is based on poems chosen by the members based on their nationalities: Pushkin's \"The Prophet\" is from Russia, Nietzsche's \"The Sun Sets\" from Germany, and Andre Bjerke's \"The Singing Land\" from Norway.Håvard Lunn's \"The Magpie and I\" was inspired by an unpleasant encounter with a flock of birds as a starting point, while Helge Eberg's \"Going Out to Thieve Horses\" was inspired by the title of a famous novel by Per Pettechon. Hindemith's \"Trio for Viola, Heckelphone (or Tenor Saxophone), and Piano\" is one of several pieces he wrote for various instrumental combinations.
