Following *New Breed* (2019) and *Second Line* (2021), this album feels like the third panel of a triptych. *Creole Culture* is a work that blends triumph and tragedy, sensuality and melancholy, confidence and introspection. The album presents Richard’s vision of New Orleans as a utopian soundscape—a mesmerizing fusion of R&B, soul, hip-hop, pop, and jazz. It is a soundscape that has survived and thrived despite facing dystopian circumstances. On *CreoleCulture*, Richard served as co-executive producer alongside Katalyst. Katalyst is an Inglewood-based music collective founded by drummer/producer Greg Paul, comprising world-class songwriters, producers, and musicians who have collaborated with artists such as Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Solange, Jay-Z, Lizzo, Usher, and Anderson .Paak. Their musical depth undeniably expands the vision of *Creole Culture* beyond the boundaries of genre.
The album features guest appearances by Big Freedia, Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph, Tarriona “Tank” Ball, and Durand Bernarr. In contrast to the powerful brass sounds found in Richard’s previous work, this album offers a softer impression. This evolution can be attributed to her realization—while exploring New Orleans—that her own perspective, a crucial element, had been missing.

Tracklisting:

1.a creole culture intro (feat. big freedia)
2.enough
3.only fans
4.chuuuuurch (feat. anjelika 'jelly' joseph)
5.groove city (feat. frank richard of chocolate milk)
6.l v r (feat. tarriona 'tank' ball)
7.pilates
8.baby, can we?
