Stornoway is an indie-folk quartet consisting of former Oxford University student Brian Briggs (vocals, guitar), multi-instrumentalist Jon Ouin, and South African brothers Rob (drums) and Oli Steadman (bass). Their second album "Tales From Terra Firma" has been reissued on vinyl by 4AD! Tales From Terra Firma is a more ambitious, complex, and imaginative work that explores themes of birth, death, and marriage, written by Briggs in an "adventure capsule" camper parked in the city of Oxford. After being recorded, the album was produced at their garage studio, Stornostudios, with the help of mix engineer George Shilling (Teenage Fanclub).

Tracklisting:

1.You Take Me as I Am
2.Farewell Appalachia
3.The Bigger Picture
4.(A Belated) Invite to Eternity
5.November Song
