GRAEME JEFFERIES is an important figure in the New Zealand post-punk scene, having worked with THIS KIND OF PUNISHMENT (reissued on SUPERIOR VIADUCT) and NOCTURNAL PROJECTIONS. The band released their second solo album "CANARY IN A COALMINE" on vinyl 35 years after their first solo album "MESSAGES FOR THECAKEKITCHEN" (re-released on ALLY RECORDS in 2021), released on FLYING NUN in 1988. This solo album was performed, recorded, and mastered by Jefferies alone throughout the entire process during the lockdown.
