Etubom Rex Williams, one of the leading artists of Nigerian highlife in the 1970s! Following his 1st release, his 5th, released in 1976, has been remastered and is being reissued by We Are Busy Body of Canada in a limited edition of 500 copies! They did it again! The band has been included in the "NIGERIA 70" series, "NIGERIA SPECIAL" and other reissued compilations of highlife~Afrofunk classics at a high rate, along with Victor Uwifo, Paulson Kalu, Stephen Osita Osadebe and others, A leading composer/trumpeter of the Nigerian highlife scene in the 1970s, who had a great influence on subsequent highlifers! He was one of the most influential composers and trumpeters in the Nigerian highlife scene in the 1970s, along with the likes of Sheita Osadebe and others. This time, following the first album, the fifth album from 1976, which is highly regarded as one of the best albums of all time, is being reissued! The band is a member of the highlife bands of the same generation, such as Ickenga Super Stars and Prince Nico Mbarga,The title track "Ubok Aka Inua" has a wonderful driving saxophone that resonates with the likes of Smaila and the Sbies, "One Woman is Enough Trouble" has a bluesy guitar that stands out while incorporating reggae rhythms, and "Uwa Idem Mi (Part 2)" is a sequel to the first track, and is a strong funk number that can be compared to Nigerian rock. The highlight of the album is "Psychedelic Shoes", one of the most killer psychedelic afrofunk songs. one of the highlights is the killer psychedelic afrofunk "Psychedelic Shoes".
