Traces of the “Pathétique Sonata” and “Fate” can also be heard.\n*The Firehearted* by Elis Harrik (born 1986) is a passionate piece that quotes motifs from the “Leonore Overture.” It was commissioned for the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra’s program commemorating the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth.\nThe second half of the album features a live recording of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4, also performed by Järvi and the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra.
