29 year-old Shunsheng makes his solo debut. Blowing the masterpieces of the Romantic horn! Rob van de Laar was born in the Netherlands in 1987 and studied with Hermann Ulissen and Wolfgang Vladar. He has performed as principal of the Arnhem Philharmonic Orchestra, principal of the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, and guest principal of many orchestras including the Royal Concertgebouw, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, and Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and has worked with Haitink, Jansons, and Arnoncourt, He has also performed with Haitink, Jansons, and Arnoncourt. His young talent is vividly etched on this debut solo album, which is full of horn charm. Schubert's "On the Stream" is an unusual song with obbligato for horn. The horn continues to play a melody separate from the song from beginning to end, creating a very beautiful effect. Although it is a song, it is a large piece of nearly 10 minutes, and is a great show of skill for the horn players.Karl Pils (1902-1979) is a well-known composer for brass players, writing concertos for various wind instruments and works for brass ensembles. His style is reminiscent of his teacher Franz Schmidt, and his romantic music is close to that of R. Strauss. King International
