The final movement of each is a dance, making this collection more of a suite than a traditional set of sonatas. Although all the material is taken from Handel’s existing works, this collection of sonatas allows us to once again appreciate Handel’s intellect and sensibility in the way he arranges them. The ensemble performance by the members of Al Aire Español is fresh and elegant.
