Beginning in 1988, she studied with Hermann Krebbers at the Amsterdam Conservatory, followed by studies with Aida Kavafian at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, USA, and with David Takeeno in London. In 2007, she is scheduled to succeed Isabel van Kulen as artistic director of the Delft Music Festival in the Netherlands.\nInon Balthanan is from Israel; she studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and is currently based in New York.
