From 1973 to the present, Divo has always been showing the world unknown musical experiences and influencing all musicians all over the world. To commemorate their 50th anniversary, a new album \"50 YEARS OF DE-EVOLUTION 1973-2023\" will be released, which will give a bird's eye view of their career of promoting the theory of human degeneracy. This 2-CD edition contains all 50 tracks! In the past, this information has always been suppressed. But now it is finally being told. Let's celebrate 50 years of Devolution together with this work that marks the 50th anniversary of Divo.\"─ Gerard Casar \"This work brings together a wonderful cross-section of my early experimentation and the creativity that followed. I have always wanted to create new sounds, new concepts of art and music that express new ways of thinking about life on earth. With Divo, I think I have done just that.Mark Mothersbaugh was born in Akron, Ohio in 1973 and made his debut in 1978 with his debut album \"Q: ARE WE NOT MEN? Since then, the great DE-EVOLUTION\/degenerationalist, DEVO, has continued to inspire the world with its stimulating sound and avant-garde performances, always presenting the world with new and unknown musical experiences. Here comes \"50 YEARS OF DE-EVOLUTION 1973-2023\", a commemorative work for the 50th anniversary of DE-EVOLUTION, which compiles the 50-year history of the \"wisdom of mankind\" that continues to be active even after a hiatus! The great energy-dome-wearing Dee Dee Deevo is said to have had a profound influence on artists all over the world. This \"50 YEARS OF DE-EVOLUTION 1973-2023\" commemorates his half-century of activity, and will be released in two formats: a 2-CD set containing all 50 songs, and a 2-CD analog set containing 25 selected songs from the album. Divo was formed in 1973 with the lineup of brothers Bob and Gerald Casar, brothers Bob and Mark Mothersbaugh, and Alan Myers. The band's name is derived from the concept \"DE-EVOLUTION = de-evolution\/degeneration,\" the idea being that society is regressing rather than progressing. In fact, this concept was also their reaction to the shocking shooting at Kent State University in 1970, which they witnessed.
