Since its formation in 2009, the trio has been receiving accolades from all over the world. GoGo Penguin" will be released in 2020 on the prestigious Blue Note label. In 2020, the band released its third album, "GoGo Penguin," on the prestigious Blue Note label to great acclaim. This is a remix album of 10 of the 11 tracks from the self-titled album, a concept that the band had been developing for several years. The album features the world's best remixers, including Cornelius and Yosi Horikawa from Japan.Keigo Oyamada of Cornelius, who worked on the first track, "Kora (Cornelius Remix)," said, "808 state was in the remixer, and I felt Manche's blood. Gogo Penguin has an appealing hypnotic live performance, so I wanted to keep their performance as much as possible. When the world calms down, I would like to go see them live." Pianist Chris Illingworth also commented on the track, "I thought Cornelius' mix was intelligent and beautiful, and a great way to start the album. The repositioning of the piano melody along with the synth line emphasizes that melody and adds a new and unique character to the song. It's perfect for a remix album. The band's electronica-influenced sound is a perfect match for the remixes. The remixes are a perfect match for the band's sound, which has a strong electronica flavor, and a different take on the band's musicianship and universal sound.
