It will also be accompanied by a 16-page lyric booklet featuring sleeve notes by Vashti, Max Richter (producer), and Devendra Banhart, as well as paintings by Vashti's daughter, Whyn Lewis (which, coincidentally, faithfully reflect the album's lyrics). Says Vashti, \"The beautiful photo of Max in the studio playing a glass of wine with his young daughter's violin bow reminds me of how lucky I am and all.\"The demos from 2001-2005 were recorded by Vashti experimenting with synthesizers at home, from piano to strings, pipe organ, harmonium, recorder, and accordion, accompanied by acoustic and electric guitars! The album is a very good example of the kind of music Vashti is known for. Of course, the sound is stripped down compared to the finished album.
