Jonathan Wilson, the US SSW who produced the 60th Grammy-nominated Father John Misty album and is also developing his talents as a producer, has released a new album! Jonathan Wilson is an LA-based SSW/producer/multi-instrumentalist who has released albums with Roy Harper, Bob Bobbitt, and Lana Del Rey, and has also produced albums with Father John Misty, who was nominated for the Grammy Awards 60 times. He has worked with Roy Harper, Bob Weir, and many other big name musicians. In recent years, he has also worked as a producer for his ally Father John Misty, J. Tillman (formerly of Fleet Foxes), and his new album, "Pure Comedy," released in April 2017, was nominated for a Grammy at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. Wilson also produced the second album "Double Roses" for British SSW singer Karen Elson and toured the world with former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters as guitarist and vocalist. It has been a busy yet rewarding year for Wilson.Wilson is on a roll and has completed his new album "Rare Birds", his third album in five years since his last one! The album features a stellar lineup of guests, including Father John Misty on backing vocals, Lana Del Rey, the world's most beautiful muse, Lucius, a band member of Roger Waters, and new age music legend Larraj, known as a collaborator of Brian Eno. and New Age music legend Lalage, who is also known as a collaborator of Brian Eno.
