This is an omnibus live album featuring the concert event "HAVANA JAM" held at KARL MARX THEATRE in Havana, Cuba on March 3-5, 1979, featuring STEPHEN STILLS, WEATHER REPORT, KRIS KRISTOFFERSON, RITA COOLIDGE, BILLY JOEL and more. This is an omnibus live album.STEPHEN STILLS, who positioned this year as a year of self-reflection, brought back "FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH," which incorporates a variety of Caribbean and Latin elements, and "LOVE THE ONE YOU'RE WITH," a classic that has been covered by numerous soul lovers, and other songs by this mature husband and wife duo. KRIS KRISTOFFERSON & RITA COOLIDGE released the refreshing pop-country "THE WAY YOU DO THE THINGS YOU DO" and "HIGHER AND HIGHER," which has an impressive intro with a stretched voice, and "8:30" was also released. WEATHER REPORT, which was released at the same time as "8:30," offers "BIRDLAND," a powerful ensemble song featuring JACO PASTORIUS on bass, and IRAKERE, a Cuban vegetarian band, offers "CONTRADANZA," a raging Latin funk/rare groove song, "FLUTE CONCERTO," and "HIGHER AND HIGHER," with an impressive intro. Flute Concerto" and "Adagio" from the Cuban vegetarian band IRAKERE, and the blood-boiling brass of "Descarga A Cuba" from the legendary salsa group Fania All-Stars,It contains a total of 12 songs with the best of gotta-jamming.
