As the title suggests, this album features the music of “kindred spirits,” bringing these personal and artistic connections to life through the sounds of the violin and piano.\n\nViolinist Lea Billingher, who made her solo debut at the Berlin Philharmonie at the age of 14 and launched her international career, has performed at international music festivals around the world, including the Salzburg Festival, MDR MusikSommer (MDR Music Summer), and the Davos International Music Festival. In 2008, she won first prize at the International Brahms Competition. Pianist Esther Billingher studied under Karl-Heinz Kemmerling, a renowned German teacher who has trained numerous world-class pianists. She won first prize at the 6th Johann Sebastian Bach International Competition, drawing widespread attention to her talent.
