Digitally transferred at London's renowned Abbey Road Studios, it presents the complete, uncut program from that day, including important repertoire omitted from previous releases, such as St. Francis of Paola Crossing the Sea. Eliminating the noise and distortion characteristic of copy sources, this definitive recording presents the recital's entirety in high fidelity for the first time, a fitting opening to the series.\n\n\n\nThe booklet includes commentary by Kevin Bazana, author of the biography \"The Lost Genius\" about Nyeres, and producer notes by label producer Tomoyuki Sawatari, presented in both Japanese and English.\n\n\n\nErvin Nirezhagy (1903-1987), a Hungarian pianist, was hailed as a child prodigy yet withdrew from the public eye, becoming a long-lost figure. Rediscovered in the 1970s, he visited Japan in his later years. This connection led to his personal effects and recording tapes being donated to Takasaki College of Arts (TACC). With the closure of the college in 2013, the archive faced potential dispersal. However, in 2016, Sonetto Classics formally inherited all materials.
