Mignone's creative spirit was strong, and in addition to five operas and eight ballets, he wrote numerous orchestral works, concertos, chamber music, instrumental music, and vocal music, spanning many fields, each of which was highly acclaimed in its own right. The \"12 Waltzes,\" written for guitar, are all in major keys, but the harmonies are often colored by Brazilian folk music idioms. The combination \"Hepinicando,\" \"Minueto-Fantasia,\" \"Shoro,\" \"Mozinha,\" \"Songs of Brazil,\" and \"Legends of the Backcountry\" are also infused with folk elements, giving them a rich atmosphere.  The performer, Andrea Monalda, produced a 2-CD album of Guinatari and Mignone exercises in 2022, and this is the second time he has performed Mignone's work. The booklet (English, 8 pages) includes commentary by Luciano Lima, guitarist and professor at the University of Rate of the State of Paraná.
