She has also performed with such masters as Szell, Levine, Seiji Ozawa, and C. Davis, earning acclaim worldwide.\nHowever, despite his fame, his recorded output is relatively limited. His main albums consist only of recent recordings released by IvoryClassics and MSRClassics since the advent of the CD era. These KAPP recordings, made between 1958 and 1960 and originally released across five LPs, were distributed only on a small scale during the analog era and had not been reissued in a comprehensive collection for a long time.\nSince the LP releases coincided with the dawn of the stereo era, all recordings were available in both mono and stereo formats. For this reissue, however, Andrew Halifax of APR spent considerable time tracking down the particularly rare stereo recordings. With the exception of a few short pieces that were actually recorded in mono despite being labeled as stereo, a stereo reissue has now been realized.\nHer signature piece, often compared to the legendary recordings of Horowitz, Klibern, and Gilels, is “Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 3”—which served as her calling card and was often compared to masterpieces by Horowitz, Klibern, and Gilels—along with “Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 2,” recorded around the same time; a collection of Chopin’s short pieces showcasing a pianism that directly inherits the Romantic tradition; and a variety of technical and character-driven short pieces by various other composers. This reissue is of immense historical and musical value, featuring nothing but precious recordings that are unmissable no matter where you start listening.\nTokyo M Plus\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"APR","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52699438121249,"sku":"5024709173204","price":5661.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/5024709173204.jpg?v=1779022637","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/5024709173204","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
