He was fascinated by Britten's purity of musical thought, clarity of touch, and sincerity of emotional expression, and he also noted the composer's emphasis on Bach and Mozart works at his Oldborough Festival.The \"Young Apollo\" was first performed in 1939, but was not performed again until after the composer's death. This recording uses a new critical edition that corrects many errors and should be called a \"second world premiere.\n\nThe Bach concerto at the beginning of the album is thought to be an arrangement of a lost violin concerto, and is an important work that reflects the results of Vivaldi's research and also influenced Britten. Mozart's \"Genome\" Concerto, on the other hand, was written by the 21-year-old Mozart full of innovation and has an unusual structure, with the piano suddenly interrupting the orchestra two bars after the opening bars. Bartlett describes the work as \"a symbol of the confidence and openness of the young genius.\n\nSalzburg, where the recording was made, is a special place for Bartlett, who remembers performing the work in a master class with András Schiff. The Bösendorfer used for this recording, he said, brought out the essence of the work, combining clarity, brilliance, and warmth.\n\nWarner Music Japan\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Warner Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52194506047777,"sku":"5021732593443","price":2871.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/5021732593443.jpg?v=1767612036","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/5021732593443","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
