In 1987, he released his sixth album, *Sand*, and embarked on a world tour consisting of 36 shows across North America, Europe, and Japan, albeit on a smaller scale. During this tour, his live performance at a venue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on August 21, 1988, was recorded and broadcast for a local FM radio program; this album is a live recording based on that performance.\n\nThe supporting members were Jimmy Johnson (b), Vinnie Colaiuta (ds), and Steve Hunt (kbds). The setlist consists of his signature songs, including new material.
