Allan Holdsworth is one of the few musicians, and guitarists, who has reached that level of \u003cmaster\u003e.\n\n\n\nAfter releasing the album None Too Soon in 1996, Allan Holdsworth embarked on a nine-show European tour in 1997, leading the rhythm section of Chad Wackerman and the late Dave Carpenter. During this tour, he appeared as one of the headliners at the Jazz Festival held in Umeå, Sweden, on October 25th of that same year. This live performance was recorded and broadcast by a local radio station. This album is a live recording based on that broadcast. The setlist for the day included 13 songs total, including the encore, but three songs were omitted due to broadcast time constraints.\n\n\n\nAlan Holdsworth delivers fluid guitar solos throughout, backed by Chad Wackerman's delicate yet powerful drumming and Dave Carpenter's melodic bass playing. As no live album exists from this trio, this release represents a valuable archival recording.
