The first "Free Soul 7inch Collection" features six 7-inch releases of popular Free Soul songs by the Jackson Sisters, Odyssey, Terry Carrier, Coke Escovedo, The Jackson Five and more! To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the popular Free Soul series, Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) will supervise and select songs for the 7-inch release. The new series will start as "Free Soul 7inch Collection. The first six titles are (1) "Jackson Sisters," (2) "Odyssey and Terry Carrier," (3) "Spinners and Sweet Charles," (4) "Coke Escovedo," (5) "Jackson Five and Lexia," and (6) "Style Council and Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66". This will be a limited first pressing.Free Soul logo on outer sticker & label side. The first six titles are all 45rpm donut hole versions. The first 6 titles are all 45rpm doughnut hole versions of two killer tunes by Cork Escovedo: the famous cover of Johnny Bristol's "I Wouldn't Change A Thing" with its groovy wah guitar over a light break, and "Make It Sweet," a moody Latin groove coming out of the murmur of the crowd.
