Rifkind and Duffy first met at a gig with organist Adam Skone (Skone Cash Players), where they instantly felt a musical chemistry and the seeds of Fat Produce were born. Sharing a passion for classic soul jazz as well as funk and hip-hop, Riffkind and Duffy began to dive into the idea of a guitar trio, elevating it to new heights never before achieved.After a year of gigging and honing their craft, the two returned to their hometown of Los Angeles, California, where they joined Rene Camacho for two days of recording at F Spot HQ under the direction of producer and label owner David M.
