Thanks to the efforts of M Records, Finis Africae has been introduced to many music fans here in Japan, and has had a great influence on the later ambient/new age movement. The Spanish label GLOSSY MISTAKES, which always surprises us with its reliable quality in both current and re-released music by artists such as Sho Ito, SUSUMU YOKOTA, and METRONORI, has released the first album "PRIMA TRAVESIA (FIRST JOURNEY)" in 1984, along with a compilation album of previously unreleased tracks. CD release of a compilation album with previously unreleased material from the Spanish label GLOSSY MISTAKES. The legendary "PRIMA TRAVESIA (FIRST JOURNEY)" has had an enormous influence on today's ambient/new age scene, pursuing his own unique musical vision without accepting or denying the labeling of ambient, new age, ethnic music, or world music. This album is a valuable source that traces the roots of organic ambient music, and its original sound world will surely captivate fans of new wave and progressive rock. Includes liner notes with unpublished photos.
