With super rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen, Van Halen made a sensational debut in 1978 and quickly became one of the top American hard rock bands. The band overcame various problems, including a change of vocalists and the departure of original member Michael Anthony, but stopped their activities in 2006. However, they resumed their activities in 2011, releasing a new album and touring extensively. The band's future is still in question after the sudden death of Eddie Van Halen on October 6, 2020. The band reached the pinnacle of American hard rock with the release of their 1984 album, which sold over 10 million copies, and every album they released from that point until 1995 reached No. 1 on the U.S. album charts. Their 1995 album "Balance" was equally successful, and the band embarked on a massive world tour, including Japan, to coincide with its release.The concert in Pensacola, Florida on March 11, the first day of the tour, was recorded and broadcast for a TV program. This live album is a complete recording of the concert including encores and solo performances. This live album includes the complete concert including encores and solo performances. The mature performance by this lineup is not only amazing, but also extremely valuable as the last record of Sammy Hagar's departure after this tour.
