The worldwide success of the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" has reaffirmed the greatness of the rock band Queen. The sound recordings of Queen's 1978-1979 "Jazz Tour" in Japan and the Paris show just before their visit to Japan are finally available on CD!
The Paris show on Disc 1 was recorded as a special program for the local TV station QTV, and a total of 30 songs were performed that day, including encores, and 14 songs were selected by the band members themselves for broadcast. The original masters have now been remastered and are finally ready to see the light of day. Disc 2 is the final part of the tour and the band's third concert in Japan, recorded as an NHK special program at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. 23 songs were performed that day, including encores, and 10 songs were selected by the band members themselves for broadcast. At this point, the band had already achieved worldwide success, and the live performance was a showcase of their dignity. The program also includes "Hand in Hand" from Queen's 5th album "The Great Race", which was recorded by the pro-Japanese band.
